About Charme Curtin

Charme Curtin Charme' Curtin has been fortunate to be surrounded by artist all o fher life. Her mother was a professional oil & watercolor artist and her father designed jewelry when both were not working as Real Estate Brokers. Because of this other professional artist were always visiting her family's home coaching Charme' on a broad knowledge of different mediums. She now specializes in Watercolor and Oil.

While in high school Charme' attended classes at the Laguna Art Colony in Laguna Beach, CA. Her studies continued at Memphis Collage, Memphis, Tenn. And then again at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ. More currently Charme' has gained further education from other professionals such as Julian Bloom, Jim Burns, Gerald Spencer, and Jan Schaffer in the watercolor Medium. She has also studied Oil under Lois Payne & Tamara Geddes.

Her beautiful artwork has been recognized by awards at various competitions and has been published in a National Watercolor Catalog. Charme' has been affiliated with the Cypress Art League, Orange County Fine Arts League & past board member of the National Watercolor Society and Henderson Art Association and the Nevada Watercolor Society Board of Directors. She is a signature member of the Nevada Watercolor Society and is a member of the Boulder City Art Guild.

Almost everyday Charme' can be found with a paintbrush in hand. Her favorite subjects are the simple things that she finds in everyday life around her. Charme' has had the opportunity to live in states all over the country : Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arizona, California and presently Henderson Nevada.
